Safety & Community Guidelines
Peace should feel human, calm, and safe. These guidelines explain what belongs on Peace, how reporting works, and what happens when rules are broken.
Last updated June 15, 2026
Be real
Peace is for live, camera-only moments — not recycled clips or synthetic personas.
- Record in the app; do not upload from your camera roll or repost content made elsewhere.
- Do not use deepfakes, face-swap filters, or AI-generated people presented as real.
- Do not impersonate another person, brand, or public figure.
Respect people
Disagreement is fine; cruelty is not.
- No bullying, threats, stalking, doxxing, or sexual harassment.
- No hate speech, slurs, or dehumanizing attacks based on protected characteristics.
- Do not record people in private places without clear consent.
Keep it safe for everyone
Certain content is never allowed, even as a “joke”.
- No nudity, sexual content, or sexual solicitation.
- Zero tolerance for sexual content involving minors or grooming behavior — report immediately.
- No graphic violence, gore, animal abuse, or encouragement of self-harm.
- No promotion of illegal drugs, weapons, fraud, or other criminal activity.
Replies stay human
Video replies should continue the conversation, not attack the person.
- Do not brigade, pile on, or use replies to continue contact after someone blocked you.
- The same safety rules apply to replies as to original moments.
Privacy and sharing
Moments fade, but harm can happen quickly.
- Public share links on peacesocial.app work only while a moment is available and not marked private.
- Do not share intimate images, documents, addresses, or private conversations without consent.
- Use private profiles, hidden activity, and blocks when you need distance.
Selfie verification
To reduce bots and impersonation, Peace may require a live selfie before you post or reply. You take the photo in the app; library uploads are not used for verification.
- Approved selfies become your profile photo.
- We may ask for re-verification when necessary to maintain account integrity and reduce abuse.
- Peace does not use Face ID or store biometric face templates.
Automated checks and review
Peace runs automated moderation when you post and may queue content for review.
- Blocked content does not appear in feeds.
- Some content may be limited while review completes.
- Automation can be wrong — reports help us improve.
Reporting and blocking
If something feels unsafe, report it from the moment menu. You can also block users from their profile.
- Reports include the moment, selected reason, and moderation context.
- Abusive or false reporting may lead to restrictions on the reporter.
- Serious reports can hide a moment until review finishes.
Enforcement
We may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently remove accounts — especially for repeat or severe violations.
- We may remove individual moments, replies, or entire accounts.
- Illegal or imminent-harm situations may be escalated to appropriate authorities where required.
Need help?
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. For Peace-specific safety issues, use in-app reporting and the contact options on https://peacesocial.app/resources.
